Need to put something online, or fix something, in the cloud?

A VM, a service, an application, a database, a website, a migration. Or a cloud that nobody looks after. Describe it to us in a couple of lines: within one working day we send you a plan with a fixed price, timings and clear limits.

  • from €190price in writing before we start
  • We start with your yeson a written plan
  • Everything in writingby email, no phone calls

What you can ask us

Any release or intervention on the cloud or on a VPS server, not just applications. For web agencies, software companies, communication agencies, e-commerce businesses and small companies that have something online and nobody whose job it is to look after it.

A VM or a server

To create or rebuild, with access, firewall and backups done properly.

An application, service or website to put online

Containerised or not, with HTTPS and your domain.

Automatic deployment from git

From GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, with a separate test environment.

A database, an upgrade, a migration

A managed database, a version upgrade, a move from one server to another or between clouds.

Backups, monitoring, spending alerts

To set up from scratch, or to fix after a check-up.

A cloud that nobody looks after

We take it on for maintenance and you can stop thinking about it.

How it works

You describe it

A couple of lines by email: what needs doing and on which platform.

We send you the plan

Within one working day: fixed price, timings, what will be interrupted and how to roll back.

We start with your yes

Only then do we touch anything, within the timings written in the plan.

Prices, and the limits stated up front

The exact price is written in the plan, before we start, and it does not change from there.

Releases and interventions

Putting something online or fixing something, at a fixed price.

Single intervention

€190 up to 3 hours of work

For example a VM with backups and access sorted out, a certificate, a domain, database backups. Beyond 3 hours, the fixed price in the plan is calculated at €60 an hour. What is included is whatever that job needs, written in the plan. Usually 1–2 working days.

Full go-live

from €690

An application or service with production and test environments, automatic deployment and monitoring. Usually 5 working days.

Always included in a full go-live

  • HTTPS, minimal access rights
  • Backups proven with a real restore before handover
  • Spending alerts
  • 1–2 pages of documentation: how to deploy, how to restore, who has access to what
Payment
Half on order and half on delivery; a single intervention is paid in full on order. Payment is by bank transfer.
Describe the job to us

Maintenance

We look after your cloud and you can stop thinking about it.

Monthly fee

from €149 a month

€149 covers a small environment: one project or account, or one VPS server, up to about 20 resources. For larger environments the fee is set after the check-up (for a VPS server, after the takeover intervention).

Every month

  • Security updates, certificate renewal
  • Backup checks, with a restore test every three months
  • Cost and alert checks: if something spends more than it should, we tell you
  • A one-page report: what we did, what we saw, what we recommend
  • Up to 2 hours of interventions included; beyond that, €60 an hour with a quote first
Environments we did not build
Yes: on the cloud after a check-up, on a VPS server after a takeover intervention.
Payment and cancellation
Month by month, paid in advance, by bank transfer. Monthly cancellation.
Ask about maintenance

Prices are in euro. No VAT is charged (flat-rate regime, regime forfettario); a 4% surcharge for INPS, Italy's social security institute (rivalsa INPS), is added to the invoice. For example, €149 a month becomes €154.96. “Fixed price” means the job never costs more than what is written.

The ground rules, stated up front

They apply to every job, check-up included.

  • We work in your environment, using a dedicated IS4ICT account created for you, which you can remove whenever you like. We never ask for passwords by email.
  • Before touching anything: a written plan with a fixed price, timings, what will be interrupted and how to roll back. We start only with your yes.
  • We never delete data or resources without your written yes on that specific item.
  • We do not develop or modify the code of your application: if needed, a separate quote.
  • Reply within one working day. No on-call cover at night or on public holidays: it is a scheduled service, not an emergency call-out service.
  • Everything in writing, by email: no phone calls.
  • You pay your cloud costs to your own provider.
  • Your data never leaves your account: all we keep is the report.
  • The check-up is not a penetration test or a certification (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2).
  • Clients in Italy; elsewhere in the European Union, only businesses with a valid VAT number in VIES, the EU's VAT validation system.

The same practices on our own infrastructure, which runs on Google Cloud: servers reachable only through controlled access and with no ports open to the internet, budgets and spending alerts, credentials in a dedicated secrets store, nightly backups kept for 90 days.

To start with no commitment: the check-up

It tells you, before anything happens, whether you are spending more than necessary, who can get in and with which permissions, whether your backups would really save you, what is exposed to the internet and what is out of support. It is a way to get to know us without giving us any power over your environment.

The kind of things a check-up finds

  • Three VMs switched on that nobody uses: €84 a month
  • A storage bucket readable by anyone on the internet
  • Backups that exist but have never been tested
  • A former team member who is still an administrator
  • A database on a version that no longer receives security updates

What we look at

Costs
Resources switched on and unused, sizing, discounts not taken up, budgets and alerts.
Security
Who has access and with which permissions, two-factor authentication, old keys, services and storage exposed to the internet, firewall.
Backups
Whether they exist, where, how long since they last ran, how long they are kept.
Updates
Systems and versions that are out of support.
Reliability
The points that stop everything if they break; monitoring and alerts.

Cloud check-up

€290 fixed price

No VAT (flat-rate regime, regime forfettario); the 4% INPS surcharge (rivalsa INPS) is added to the invoice: €301.60. Paid on order, by bank transfer.

What you receive

  • A report in Italian, as a PDF, 10 pages at most
  • The overall picture on the first page
  • For each problem: what we saw, why it matters, what it is worth in euros where that can be said, what to do about it and what that costs, at a fixed price
  • Questions about the report are handled by email, for 14 days after delivery
Access
A dedicated read-only account for IS4ICT that can see how the environment is built, the spending and the names of files and resources, not their contents, and that you remove when the work is done. We touch nothing.
Google Cloud: Security Reviewer, Cloud Asset Viewer, Recommender Viewer, Monitoring Viewer, Org Policy Viewer, Policy Analyzer Activity Viewer and, on the billing account, Billing Viewer. AWS: ViewOnlyAccess, SecurityAudit and AWSBillingReadOnlyAccess. Azure: Reader and Cost Management Reader.
Timing
2 working days from the moment the access works.
Scope
Google Cloud, AWS or Azure: one project, one account or one subscription, up to about 50 resources; beyond that, a quote first. Not on VPS servers: a read-only review does not work well there.

Frequently asked questions

What is worth knowing before you write to us.

Do we need a phone call to get started?

No, everything is in writing, by email. You describe in a couple of lines what needs doing and on which platform; within one working day we send you a plan with a fixed price, timings, what will be interrupted and how to roll back. We start only with your yes.

Which platforms do you work on?

Google Cloud, AWS, Azure and VPS servers (for example Aruba, OVH, Hetzner, Register).

How much does an intervention longer than 3 hours cost?

A single intervention costs €190 for up to 3 hours of work. Beyond that, the fixed price in the plan is calculated at €60 an hour: you know it before we start, and the job never costs more than what is written.

Do you also modify our application's code?

No: we do not develop or modify your application's code. If needed, a separate quote.

Are you on call at night or on public holidays?

No. We reply within one working day: it is a scheduled service, not an emergency call-out service.

Do you take over maintenance of an environment you did not build?

Yes. On Google Cloud, AWS and Azure after a check-up; on a VPS server after a takeover intervention at a fixed price (€190 for up to 3 hours), in which we put it in order and document it. The fee starts at €149 a month for a small environment (one project or account, or one VPS server, up to about 20 resources); for larger environments it is set after the check-up (for a VPS server, after the takeover intervention). Monthly cancellation.

Do you see our data during the check-up?

The dedicated read-only account for IS4ICT can see how the environment is built, the spending and the names of files and resources, not their contents. We touch nothing and you remove the account when the work is done. Your data never leaves your account: all we keep is the report.

Is the check-up a certification?

No: it is not a penetration test or a certification (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2). It is a read-only review of costs, security, backups, updates and reliability, with a report in Italian within 2 working days from the moment the access works. It is done on Google Cloud, AWS or Azure, not on VPS servers.

Tell us what you need to put online or fix

A couple of lines are enough: what needs doing and on which platform. Within one working day we reply with the plan, the fixed price and the timings.
